I'm proud to have been selected as the "city leader" for Louisville, KY with Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk.  I follow Scott's blog semi-religiously and am a big fan of his books and video podcasts.  He is putting together the WWPW to promote his new Lightroom 2 for Digital Photographers book due out soon from Peachpit Press.

 The walk is on August 23rd starting at 9:00 a.m. in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption downtown.  I'm sure we'll break up into a couple of groups heading in different directions.  I have checked out the route up Fifth street to the River and back down Sixth and then down Muhammad Ali to Fourth Street Live.  We'll all be meeting up at Red Star Tavern at 11:00 for lunch and for "chimping" as Scott and Matt Kloskowski have named the act of looking at the LCD on the back of the camera.

 There is a cap of 50 participants on each walk so if you are interested in signing up, don't wait around.  I'm looking forward to the walk and to meeting other local photo enthusiasts!
